Rec Registration is Closed

Your board of directors has received a few inquiries as to why we are not able to add players after the registration deadline.

Please know, a lot of planning goes into each and every season. The single most important driving force is directed by the number of registrations received when the teams need to be built.

The number of players registered, dictates the number of teams per division, the number of players on each team, the formation scheme for each division (7v7/9v9), the way the fields are built, the number of uniforms and trophies that are ordered, and in turn, the game schedules.

With nearly 900 families in the Rec program alone, our decisions must be made for the entirety of the club, and not the individual.

Adding players after registration closes throws all this planning into chaos. Going over the planned roster sizes causes all children to lose out on playing time, and causes coaches to have issues with substitution.

If we added all the late registrations, we would have more players on the bench than on the field.

Your board puts a lot of time into the planning of this league, a lot of time. We only ask that you please register on time, and if not, please understand our position, even if you do not agree.
